Busy-ness as Usual

We are settled back into our life here in Uganda. Lots of things are happening, but life is good because God is good. He is refining us daily in the gentle way He calls love. Here is some of what we have been up to lately.

Our town: Mbale, Uganda

First day of school at a new school! So far so good!

The staff and students at Tyler International School. What a great bunch!

One of my art classes working hard sanding boards for our collages.  Mercy and Allen, two of our oldest Lulwanda kids, are my assistant teachers while they are on holiday from secondary school.

 A glorious mess!

New baby calf born this week!! Welcome to Lulwanda little one.

My preschool art class at Lulwanda.  We love homemade play-dough.

Even our feet love the play dough.

Sometimes we love it with our whole bodies.

Lilly celebrating her birthday with her friend.

Progress on the farmer’s house. Coming along nicely.

Pineapples are growing! Hello little guy.

Soybeans are planted in neat rows.  Notice the eucalyptus trees in the background.  They have grown so much!

The John 4:14 Foundation helping to install the solar-powered water pump at Lulwanda.

The children playing on the dirt that we brought in to help level the property and cover the bare, rocky areas.

Thanks for checking in on us.  We love and appreciate you all so much.
